Art Curator Exhibition Reflection
During the creation of this process I was able to gain and
retain the fundamental ideas and physicality that goes into being an art
curator. Specifically, the thought
process of how to deliver an exhibit that is unique and able to attract and
maintain an audience was a constant thought in my head while constructing this
exhibition. Furthermore, the selection
of pieces was more difficult than expected; correlating works of art that would
solidify the theme of the exhibition had a careful and detailed requirement
attached to it. Lastly, I thought that
this project was great because it provided an understanding how much work goes
into this type of occupation, prior to learning about this subject I was under
the impression that curator’s only categorized art and then attempted to find
the space for particular themes to be viewed, I quickly learned that this is
not the scenario at all.
